Help raise awareness about local waste and recycling issues by participating in REDO’s Art Contest! 3rd – 12th-grade students in Salt Lake County are encouraged to participate. All pieces should reflect the theme, “A Cleaner, Greener Utah.” Limit: one entry per student.
The first step is to choose your category for the kind of art you want to create:
- Sculpture (mosaic, collage, or 3D. Must use recycled materials)
- Photography
- Poetry
The second step is to register for the event and choose one category. The registration deadline has been extended to October 20th. For teachers who want to register their entire class: choose one category. Limit to 40 slots per class. Some projects may make great assignments! For example, literature teachers may be interested in creating a poetry assignment for an entire class! Register Here
Submissions are due by October 30th. To submit your piece, take a photo of the art, submit the photograph, or send a word document of your poem to info@redoright.org.
1st – 3rd places will be awarded prizes and showcased at the Urban Arts Gallery on November 15th for National Recycling Day and remain until the end of November.
