As Executive Director of REDO, Rachel trains and supports students to bring recycling to their schools and make a lasting impact on their community. Rachel majored in Environmental Ethics and Policy at the University of Portland. She also received several nonprofit development certificates for Board Development, Grant Writing, Event Planning, and Fundraising from Portland Community College through the CLIMB Center. After college, she spent four years working as a Director with the Fund for the Public Interest to fundraise for environmental and public health campaigns. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her partner, Derek, as well as painting and hiking.
